However, the true artistic evolution can be traced back to<strong>1930<\/strong> , when a woman on the street drew a simple floral with broom and fennel. The work immediately obtained the approval of the inhabitants of the country which they just imitate it, by starting a challenge &#8220;positive&#8221; for the creation of more and more beautiful and great works, depicting Jesus and the miracle of the Eucharist with motifs of fantasy or &#8220;copying&#8221; paintings existing. Since that time the feast of Corpus Christi became a joyous occasion in which all families, and later groups infioratori increasingly savvy, they could compare their work and reward those judged best for technical skill, precision and creativity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The flower festival<\/strong> , made \u200b\u200bonly with vegetable and floral elements, require a preparation of weeks but are supplemented with fresh flowers in just one night. These floral decorations have brilliant colors and subtle shades, and are a masterpiece of artistic imagination Spello. Typically the start of work of the flower festival is scheduled for 14:00 on the <strong>Saturday before the procession<\/strong> , with the <strong>designers who put the work<\/strong> , all night, <strong>from 16:00<\/strong> . The works must be completed within the hours 07:00 of the following Sunday. Then a panel will review and award the best compositions.<\/p>\n<p>Approximately <strong>2000 meters of carpets<\/strong> that are issued along all the streets and squares of Spello, in an explosion of colors and scents, creating a spectacle of great beauty.
